WFCA debuts in-house content studio
Dalton—The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) has expanded its content creation and production capabilities with the opening of a dedicated, custom studio space under a new banner, Studio 59.
The new initiative provides the opportunity to create a library of original digital content, including solid education, leadership training, and additional resources from the WFCA and its many partners to better serve its large and diverse membership base.
“Since 1959, the WFCA has been at the forefront of addressing issues affecting the flooring industry,” said Scott Humphrey, CEO of the WFCA. “We will now have the ability to create diverse content on different platforms to serve our fast-growing, highly engaged audience in every sector of the flooring industry.”
Freida Staten, vice president of marketing, communications and membership, added: “The pandemic has really shed light on the importance of content. We jumped right into action by providing the latest news and resources and demonstrating the power and potential of our platform, as well as our audience’s appetite for a wide and diverse range of content. The launch of Studio 59 significantly expands the scope of our virtual offering and reinforces our commitment to this industry.”
The name Studio 59 is a tribute to its creation in 1959 with the founding of the Western Floor Covering Association. The state-of-the-art studio set with audio, lighting, background and monitors, will host live and pre-recorded events across all divisions, partners and the executive team of WFCA.
