The library’s new geothermal HVAC system is now fully operational, cooling all parts of the building. While some points on the delivery list still need to be addressed, the work in the library is almost complete.
Because there are no more daily activities in the attic and basement, access to the second floor of the library is no longer by appointment and more seats have been added on both floors. Library hours are stable on 10-7 Monday through Thursday, 10-5 on Friday and 10-1 on Sunday.
Our courtyard and grounds will be restored in the coming months with additional features and amenities, but both are now usable.
