US solar contractor Swinerton Renewable Energy (SRE) recently opened its new headquarters in San Diego, California to house a growing team.

SRE collaborated with ID Studios on the design, building on a long-standing partnership with the Solana Beach-based company. SRE managed the construction of the project and worked with the Swinerton self-perform trade experts at various stages of construction.
Construction on the office began in February 2020 and was completed in spring 2021. The 25,000 m² site is an extension of an existing 5,700 m² operations and control center and office space that was completed in 2018.
Several large-scale images, including a “Solar 101″ wall, reflect the SRE team’s creativity and dedication to STEM education. The space also houses the company’s 24-hour, 365-day-a-year operations and control center.
