SB Energy will break ground on 200-MW Texas solar project in 2022

SB Energy, a subsidiary of SoftBank Group, is scheduled to begin construction on the 200 MW Eiffel Solar project in Lamar County, Texas, in the first half of 2022. The project will start supplying energy to utilities Energy transfer in January 2024.

Energy Transfer has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement with San Francisco-based SB Energy for 120 MW of Eiffel Solar’s electricity.
