Patcraft introduces Create In Place collection

put in placeCartersville, Ga.—Patcraft, a leader in high-performance commercial flooring, introduced its latest resilient collection, Create In Place. Available in 9 x 36 planks and 10 colorways, the three unique styles can be used to promote signage, guiding transition and movement through the built environment, the company said.

For the Create In Place patterns, Patcraft product designer Amanda Hopkins set out to create a hard-surface collection that was directly related to original artwork. Hopkins said she used a variety of brushstrokes, sizes and shapes to create each design, incorporating both handmade and natural influences.

“After choosing the artwork that would serve as the base pattern for each style, we turned to the color line as the next step in the product development process,” said Hopkins. “We were deliberate in selecting dynamic hues for impact and creative spaces – connecting the patterns through color.”

Within the collection, Iterate is an aggregate-inspired pattern with a terrazzo-esque image created with hand-painted watercolors. Reach is a linear pattern created using a block-and-string printing method and Energize was developed by layering block-printed artwork.

Create In Place has a 20 mil wear layer for superior durability. The 5mm product construction also allows for installation next to carpet without the need for transitions, and an ExoGuard+ finish provides enhanced scratch and stain resistance. Create In Place is produced entirely in the USA.
