No injuries after truck catches fire in northwest Calgary

CALGARY — No one was injured when an HVAC truck caught fire Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred early Tuesday afternoon, around 2 p.m., when an employee saw smoke coming from the back of his HVAC truck. parked in front of a house on the 100 block of Panamount Green NW

The worker parked the truck in the middle of the road to protect the house it was parked in front of.

When firefighters arrived, the truck was engulfed in flames in the middle of the road. According to a spokesman for the Calgary Fire Department, the fire service was able to quickly extinguish the fire.

No one was injured, but the eaves of the garage attached to the house sustained minor damage.

A detective is now on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
