NAES Corporation will provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for: CIM group‘s 250-MWAC Aquamarine Solar Photovoltaic Project at Westlands Solar Park in western Fresno and Kings Counties in California.

“NAES is proud to partner with CIM Group to provide O&M services for their large-scale solar farm and generation network in California,” said Norm Escover, president and CEO of NAES. “This is a significant advance in the clean energy industry and one NAES Corporation is uniquely primed to be part of our combination of experience and services.”

NAES is currently supporting the first 125 MW phase of Westland Solar Park, which went into commercial operation on October 1, with the management of their Westland’s transmission lines, substation and interconnection. In addition, the NAES team provides quality assurance and quality control, O&M and technical assessment of the photovoltaic field.

The second 125 MW phase of Aquamarine will be completed and operational by the end of the year. The park has an estimated 880,000 solar panels on 1,843 acres of former farmland. The tests have been completed and NAES has started to provide full-power services to the first phase of the solar farm, and the services for the second phase are expected to go live and begin by the end of this year.
