Calhoun, Georgia – Mannington Commercial introduced its Swell collection, a modular rug available in plank format with four coordinating styles. Inspired by nature, along with traditional weaving and knitting techniques, Swell is designed to bring harmony to the workplace, K-12 and higher education environments, Mannington said.

The result is a collection that contributes to our portfolio of purposefully designed products that fit the aesthetic needs of today’s workplaces and educational environments. “
According to the company, Swell offers four styles of modular shelving in complementary neutral tones and bright accents. Each style is available in size 18×36 in five colorways and has a weight of 14 ounces and an Infinity 2 Modular backing.
- Castline is a medium scale pattern inspired by wavy lines created in large undulating sails on the waterways.
- Colorcast is a medium-scale pattern with text patterns that revitalize the use of color and traditional stripes.
- Eventide is a small-scale structure pattern inspired by a calm and fixed horizon.
- Hightide is a small-scale pattern that shows the ability of light to transform a horizon with glowing hues.
The company said the Swell collection contains Antron Lumena type 6.6 nylon for improved cleanability, performance and appearance retention. The Infinity 2 Modular backing contains recycled material and is certified NSF / ANSI 140 Gold, added Mannington. Product specific Type III EPD and published HPD are available. The collection offers a limited lifetime warranty on wear and backing, a 15-year limited warranty on XGUARD stain resistance, and a 15-year limited warranty on ColorSafe bleach resistance, Mannington said.
