Intersolar North America unveils agenda for 2022 in-person conference

Intersolar North America (ISNA) and Energy Storage North America (ESNA) has released the conference schedule for the 2022 event, to be held Jan. 13-15 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

“We are excited to bring a comprehensive, actionable, and personalized learning experience to the solar and storage community to kick off the new year,” said Wes Doane, events director for Intersolar North America and Energy Storage North America. “Both young professionals and seasoned industry veterans get the information they need to make progress in ISNA/ESNA workshops and conference sessions led by trusted organizations such as Solar Energy International and clean energy pioneers such as Janice Lin. “

The solar and energy storage conference program was developed in collaboration with Strategen, the former event producer of Energy Storage North America. The 2022 educational sessions explore distributed and large-scale solar and energy storage, such as:

  • Vehicle-Grid Integration (VGI) – Strategies for Widespread Dissemination

  • Successfully modeling grid-scale energy storage in IRPs

  • The supply chain shuffle & module technology: 2022 cost trends and how the industry is tackling the pandemic, tariffs and forced labor

  • Automation and Digitization in Solar O&M

In addition, the pre-conference workshops to be held on January 12 will teach participants hands-on. The full-day “NABCEP Technical Training” workshop focuses on renewable energy products – including structural solutions for flat roof solar and rapid shutdown and financial modeling – and will provide pre-approved continuing education units (CEUs) to meet the NABCEP recertification requirements. Other focused workshop topics include “Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES): Due Diligence for Grid Planning & Product Development” and “Think Beyond the Grid! How Green Hydrogen Will Open Up Huge New Market Opportunities for Solar Energy: Fundamentals, Applications and the evolution of green hydrogen hubs.” The current workshop offer and descriptions can be viewed here.

Interested industry participants are encouraged to: Register today to take advantage of Early Bird prices while they remain available. When purchasing a conference or workshop pass, you also have access to 235+ exhibitors in the shared #isnaesna22 exhibition hall, as well as all keynote sessions, the Solar Games and the Thursday Night Party.
