Hannah Solar Government Services has been selected as the EPC for a US Navy 1.08 MW PV system at Naval Base Guam.

Naval Base Guam is a strategic, joint US naval base in the Northern Mariana Islands in the Pacific Ocean. It is home to multiple US Navy submarines, a Coast Guard Cutter, as well as nearly 30 other tenant commandos. Their strategic location has been vital to protecting the interests of the US and its allies since 1944.

The ground-mounted solar PV power system being designed will help reduce much of the cost that the base incurs annually with traditional power sources.

“Naval Base Guam provides vital support and protection for the United States, and we are honored to provide them with design and support for this ground-mounted solar system,” said Col (RET.) Dave McNeil, president and CEO of HSGS.
