Through a partnership with Purple Heart Homes, Scott Theisen was selected and approved as a recipient for the roof replacement.

“Based on the 8 to 10 responses we received specifically about (Theisen) from friends and family, we felt he deserved his new roof,” said Todd Murphy, vice president of Leubke Roofing, Security. Based on how he serves the community, how he has served our country. Most people said he would give you the shirt off his back. ‘

Theisen served in the Marines in the mid-1980s, and now he serves those in need by taking them to doctor’s appointments, Murphy said, adding “it looks like (Theisen) has a servant heart.”
