Daltile launches Stare program – Floor Covering News
Dallas, Texas—Daltile launched its new Stare program, a dynamic range of custom tiles featuring vibrant colors, trendy mosaics, chic modern neutrals and oversized offerings.
“Stare was developed to bring the pinnacle of fashion to our commercial customers,” said Laura Grill, director of product design at Daltile Corporation. “From vibrant colors that easily become an eye-catcher, to signature mosaics that instantly become the star of a room, STARE provides the ultimate source for fashion-driven looks.”
Amber Leigh Martinson, senior marketing director of Daltile Corporation, added that the company knew it needed a marketing campaign to really break up the space and get its customers to do a double take. “Our team had a lot of fun designing this campaign. The name and slogan are trendy, chic and intriguing to attract attention and generate interest. Complementing the name, we have a plethora of unique lifestyle images that are fun, vibrant and eye-catching, just like our tiles. For our color palette, we wanted to differentiate ourselves from our traditional branding and give this program the special ‘glow-up’ it deserves with electric pops of neon pink and blue.”
According to Grill, the idea behind the Electric collection is to provide extreme dimensionality and unique organic and geometric shapes. “This collection features deep and sharp 3D textures offered in stunning metallic colors, as well as black and white, to achieve striking images.”
The Eclettia collection consists of larger tiles in a contemporary color palette, matte finishes and 3D textures. “The range also offers micro-mosaics to fragment walls and add rhythm, as well as wallpaper-style decorative patterns with romantic and geometric motifs,” said Grill.
The Terratech collection is also available in larger sizes, 30×30 and 30×60, along with a more neutral color palette that resembles natural clay. “An extra touch of artistry can be achieved with the collection’s 3D sculptural mosaics and a striking geometric patterned mosaic,” Grill noted.
According to Daltile, Mystone Moon and Mystone Limestone were created as complementary collections. Mystone Moon has cool tones while Mystone Limestone has warmer colors.
“Mystone Moon is a subtle limestone for minimalist and essential design, with large formats such as 36 x 70 and 48 x 48 to meet the growing demand for large floor tiles in the commercial segment,” said Grill. “Conversely, Mystone Limestone follows the trend of calming interiors achieved through warm, cozy and soothing natural colors.”
Mystone Limestone is available in sizes 48 x 48 and 30 x 60.
“A wood look with contemporary Scandinavian inspiration, Oltre offers light, natural colors to exude tranquility and add elegance to spaces,” said Grill. “Through this collection, Daltile offers a 71-inch long shelf for the first time for the ultimate in style and realism.”
According to Daltile, the Pinch collection consists of Venetian terrazzo looks that come in neutral base colors and mosaics decorated with geometric asymmetrical patterns. “Pinch accurately evokes the details, colors and varied patterns that make true terrazzo floors unique,” Grill said.
Pinch is available in larger sizes such as 48 x 48.
