Armstrong announces another round of price hikes

LANCASTER, Dad. – Following on from the previous price hikes that took effect on August 15, Armstrong Flooring announced that it will raise prices again for a large number of residential and commercial flooring products in the US

Effective November 1, 2021, there will be a full price repositioning on IMA, commercial tile and select residential slabs and commercial/residential manufactured and purchased LVT products. Other select residential and commercial products will see increases of up to 10%, with minimal increases ranging from $0.05-$0.25 per square foot. In addition, a sea freight surcharge of $0.05 to $0.25 per square meter will be introduced.

Armstrong Flooring executives said the increases are needed to offset continued rising costs. “As a result of the continued increase in input costs and an evaluation of company policies, procedures and processes to better align with current market dynamics, we had no choice but to update certain aspects of pricing and freight,” says Brent Flaharty, senior vice president, chief customer experience officer. “Armstrong Flooring is committed to our loyal customers and will continue to improve product quality as we strive to offer our products at competitive prices.”
