AHF Products acquires American OEM assets
Mountville, Pa.—AHF Products has acquired certain assets of American OEM, the trading name of Cumberland Products Group, LLC, a Tennessee-based company specializing in the manufacture of private label parquet floors made exclusively from North American wood sources.
American OEM manufactures hardwood products at its Only, Tennessee facility in a range of styles and types, including red oak, white oak, hickory, maple and walnut. The company was founded by Don Finkell to provide high quality, domestically produced wood products and serves hardwood flooring distributors and national accounts in the United States.
“American OEM and Don Finkell have made a name for themselves in the industry with style and innovation, and we look forward to integrating these capabilities with AHF and our strong brand family, including Bruce, Hartco, Robbins and LM Flooring,” said Brian. In addition, American OEM has a customer base that opens up new opportunities for AHF Products, and we look forward to expanding these relationships.”
Finkell will stay with AHF Products to continue growing product sales. “We are excited to be part of AHF Products and to contribute to its growth,” he said. “We approach things in a similar way to AHF Products; product development is a collaborative effort between the company and its customers, in much the same way that AHF Products approaches the market. This has been one of the reasons for AHF Products’ success over the past two years since its founding.”
According to the companies, products sold under the Raintree, Hearthwood and Emily Morrow Home brands will remain under those brands.
