A home improvement retailer that transforms decorating with a new vacation rental connection

ATLANTA — Home Depot has partnered with online vacation home marketplace Vrbo on a rental deal that allows vacationers to find the retailer’s home improvement equipment.

To achieve a designer look indoors, Home Depot partnered with design-focused influencers Holly and Brad Lauritzen of Our Faux Farmhouse in Austin, Texas; Fariha Nasir of Pennies of Fortune in Cypress, Texas; and Orange County, Calif.-based Danielle Guerrero of Our Nest at Powell to reimagine the home’s living spaces.

The four-bedroom, six-bathroom home, located on Laurel Lake in The Berkshires in Lee, Mass., features several Home Depot exclusive brands including the Home Decorators Collection of bathroom furniture, flooring, ceiling fans and window treatments; StyleWell home design, which runs the gamut from beds and patio furniture to home decor; and The Company Store, known for its down comforters, pillows and bedding.

Using products available at The Home Depot or homedepot.com, the designers have put in elements such as timeless decoration by combining modern furniture with old-inspired wallpaper and lighting, and practical and cool living through additions such as the kitchen coffee bar and the. the use of loose fabrics throughout the house.

The products have been chosen to enhance the guest experience and improve the use of the resort.

Using the Berkshires’ home as a backdrop, he said, “We’re excited to show how these simple and affordable solutions — from new beds and throws to functional chairs — can be for travelers and property owners.”

Influencer Fariha Nasir designed one of the home’s four bedrooms.

The living room, designed by Lauritzens, has a three-seater beige sofa with rounded arms, a set of armchairs with wooden arms and legs, a large wooden round coffee table and many pillows and throws in a neutral gray tone. , cream and beige.

The couple also decorated the living room, dining room, reading area, master bedroom, powder room and patio.

Pattern comes into play in Nasir’s guest bedroom makeover which is emphasized by Art & amp; Crafts style wallpaper from York. Gold, olive blue and gray accents, including a retro-styled gray striped chair, gray and olive area rug and arched gold mirror, match the metal-frame upholstered bed. For textiles, the room has Company Store Egyptian cotton linens in white, navy and white striped cotton throws and another in a waffle weave dark taupe.

Nasir’s influence is also found in twins and sleeping luck.

Guerrero took over the breakfast kitchen, front porch, entry foyer, sauna and roof deck. The latter includes a fire pit, wicker outdoor furniture with two swivel chairs with ash gray Sunbrella cushions, faux greenery and patterned accent pillows in outdoor friendly fabrics.

Among the areas that were remodeled using Home Depot products was the roof.

As a background palette for furniture and accessories, the home features Blank Canvas – Behr’s 2023 Color of the Year – as the wall color for the common areas. The soft white with a warm undertone works with most of the neutral shades used in the furniture as well as occasional pops of color in the spaces.

The rent for the house, which is owned by them, varies by date and availability.
